Nimbin Candle Factory

Nimbin Candles is an artisan candle factory, making non-toxic, dipped candles using an eleventh century dipper which is run on water hydraulics. We’re open 7 days a week, in the Old Butter Factory in Nimbin.

Nimbin Candles has been welcoming visitors to its factory in the old churn room of the historic Butter factory in Nimbin since 1990.

We have featured on such Australian Travel shows as ‘The Great Outdoors’ and ‘Getaway’ we’ve even featured on the German ‘Getaway’ show and most recently, ‘Travel Oz’ and ‘Sydney Weekend’ with Mike Whitney.

We have large tour groups, School groups, craft clubs, pensioner groups as well as small family groups visiting the factory. Young and old enjoy watching the candles being made. All the candles are available for purchase and we offer great factory prices too!
