Nimbin Fringe is a grassroots, community-led arts festival celebrating the depth and diversity of creative practice in Nimbin and across the Northern Rivers.

From Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, the village comes alive with live music, comedy, dance, circus, film, visual arts and more — showcasing both emerging and established artists in a uniquely local setting.Set against the backdrop of Nimbin’s rich creative and countercultural history, the festival highlights the people, stories and ideas that make this region unlike anywhere else.

Expect an eclectic, boundary-pushing program that reflects the spirit of the community — inclusive, independent and a little bit unexpected.Artist and volunteer applications are now open.
