Wing Tsun Kung Fu

ENG CHOON MUI HUAY TAU  KANG HU TONG Plum Blossoms of Eternal Spring Translated from Hokkien Southern Chinese dialect ENG CHOON MUI HUAY TAU. It is a type of KUNTAO which utilises a conglomerate of 19th and 20th century fighting styles – Wing Tsun, Jui Jitisu, Judo, Ninjitsu, 5 Animal Wu Kong, Wushu, Bajiquan and Dim Mak.

Kuntao

Kuntao is a Hokkien term for martial arts. It means Way of the Fist or Way of the Stick. It refers to the synthesis fighting styles that are developed in South East Asia such as Silat and Lian Padukan. Kuntao can be dated to the time of the first Chinese settlements (BCE) in the archipelagos of Malaysia and Indonesia.

Training

Students will learn Fight Science, Offence and Defence techniques, Locks and Breaks, Pressure Points and Joints, Throwing and Falling, Footwork, Grounding, Power, Kinetic Energy, Breathing, Sensitivity, Stick Fighting.
