The Nimbin Community Tools & Equipment Library lends tools, garden gear, food processing equipment and craft equipment to the Nimbin community, so you don’t have to buy something you’ll only use once. It operates from 7 Sibley Street — Nimbin’s Sustainable Living Hub and is a project of the Nimbin Neighbourhood Centre (NNIC).

Borrow or return equipment at 7 Sibley Street on:
- Wednesdays and Saturdays
10.30am to 2:00pm.
Membership
Membership is open to people in the Nimbin community — within roughly 30km of the village — aged 18 and over, who are also members of NNIC.
- $27.50 per year, including NNIC membership
- $22 per year for current financial NNIC members
- Half price for young people aged 18–25
- Free for social housing tenants who are NNIC members
How to join
Sign up at the Nimbin Neighbourhood Centre, across the road at 71 Cullen Street, weekdays 10am to 4pm. New members need photo ID and proof of residence, and sign a Terms of Use Agreement. Once you’re a member you can borrow during library opening hours at 7 Sibley Street.
